Character Actors Release “Everywhere Is Good Except For Where We Are” EP
Leeds, UK's Character Actors have today released the Everywhere Is Good Except For Where We Are EP that is available…
Norwegian post-punk collective Heave Blood & Die have today dropped their fourth full length, Burnout Codes, via Fysisk Format. The album is dedicated to bassist Eivind Imingen, who decided to end his life just after the recordings of the album were completed. Burnout Codes is shrouded in sadness and tragedy, and shows the Norwegian collective offering their most textured and innovative album to date.
Over the course of three albums, Heave Blood & Die have built a signature sound by combining elements of post-punk, post-rock, shoegaze and indie and this new album is no different. It features their trademark post-punk sound with shouty vocals and some electronic/noise manipulation along with minimal synth melodies giving the band’s sound an ethereal almost cinematic feel.
