Detroit rock band I Prevail has unveiled details for their full length debut. The record will be titled Lifelines and is due out later this year. The album was recorded at Wall of Sound Studios in Riley, MI with producers B.J. Perry and John Pregler. The band has premiered the first new song, “Scars,” with the band providing initial comments on the track and accompanying video:““Scars was the first song we wrote that really took things to another level. It instantly set the tone for the rest of the album. I think it perfectly showcases our sound in terms of the riffs, electronics and big chorus, while still keeping the heaviness. We knew right away it was the song we wanted to lead with. As for the message, we were seeing so many people being either scared or bullied into a certain lifestyle by different aspects of society. We still feel those pressures ourselves. This song is a message telling people to follow your dreams and be proud of who you are, regardless of what’s going on around you.”
