Jack Grisham & The Life Undone is a new project by Calfornia’s Jack Grisham (TSOL / The Joykiller) and Berlin’s Lars Triesch (Profession Reporter), The pair met at The Punk Rock Museum when Triesch was in Las Vegas researching a new book on photographer Edward Colver, which led to months of online collaboration. Despite some translation issues the songs that would become the duo’s self titled album were written, and Grisham headed over the Berlin to records at Triesch’s residence and recording studio.

Grisham and Triesch were joined by Trevor Lucca (Dick Dale / TSOL) and the whole project was guided by the production team of Kurt Ebelhäuser and Michel Wern. Thirteen tracks were laid down in ten days with additional vocal and keyboard recordings completed in Los Angeles at Kitten Robot Studios and engineered by Paul Roessler (The Screamers / 45 Grave). The full album moves fluidly with anthemic highs, stripped-back moments, and everything in between, this is less a throwback than a reimagining of where Jack’s songwriting sits now. Jack Grisham & The Life Undone is now available through Lost In Berlin Records.
