Static Friction Reveal New Single & Video “The Balance” Ahead Of US Tour Dates
Boston, MA melodic punk band Static Friction have released their brand new single, The Balance, this is accompanied by the band's…
The Faroe Islands’ finest, Joe & The Shitboys, are making a brazen return after their sensational ten minute debut album, The Reson For Hardcore Vibes, and have dropped Pull The Trigger, their first new track since 2020. With their second full length due for release this November via Tutl Records, expect a refreshing tirade of ferocious social commentary from these fast rising flamboyant punks.
Having already won over a multitude of fans with their frenzied tracks, whilst also generating a few online beefs with the swearing-adverse Mr. Motivator, and anyone who doesn’t get down with their queer, vegan, anti-misogynistic message, the band finally made their first live appearance at Boardmasters festival this summer. From the 14th September to the 1st October the four-piece will then be tearing up venues and festivals up and down the UK on their first full run, roasting every audience member one by one as they go.
“You know those people, typically men, typically straight, typically white, that say the most offensive things online and call people snowflakes, but then start crying about free speech whenever their hateful rhetoric is contested? That’s who ‘Pull the Trigger’ is about. In the video, one of these men is seen gunning down Joe & The Shitboys in cyberspace in hilarious fashion. Fittingly filmed in a tiny park that’s only a big deal in this tiny nation.”
