Johnny Moped Celebrate 50th Anniversary With New Album “Quonk!”

Punk icon Johnny Moped recently celebrated his 70th birthday with a sold-out gig at the 229 in London, and now as the band celebrate their 50th year of making a racket, they are set to return with a brand-new full length, Quonk!, that will be released on May 17th via Damaged Goods Records. Quonk! is the band’s first new album since 2019’s Lurrigate Your Mind and finds the band in suitably barmy form! Quonk! is now available for pre-order here on CD, neon pink vinyl, neon green vinyl and a 50th anniversary bundle that includes an extremely limited pressing on 50th anniversary gold vinyl.

Johnny Moped will also be hitting the road in the UK across the Spring and Summer, including an appearance at Rebellion Festival. The band have also announced a show at London’s legendary 100 Club in November.
