Lathe Of Heaven Commence UK Tour
NYC based band Lathe of Heaven have proved themselves to be a potent and cohesive element amidst the torrent of hardcore punk and synth-driven pop revival currently proliferating throughout the US underground. The band released their debut album, Bound By Naked Skies, was released last year and the band will commence their debut UK tour tomorrow, Tuesday 13th February. The band will then head back to mainland Europe to complete their ongoing European tour.
Formed in 2021, the band features members of noteworthy Brooklyn based projects such as People’s Temple, Porvenir Oscuro, Pawns, Android and Hustler. Lathe of Heaven deliver a powerful take on post punk and new wave, pushing the boundaries of both genres into an untouched realm of sonic abstraction. With melodic riffs, urgent rhythms and science fiction themed lyrics, Lathe of Heaven carefully position themselves in the no-mans-land that exists between beauty and dissonance
