Live Skull Are “Hit So Hard” On New Single With US Tour Dates & “Party Zero” Album To Follow

NYC no-wave veterans Live Skull will release their new album, Party Zero, on May 26th via Bronson Recordings. The band haver now released their new single, Hit So Hard, that offers a delirious trip into the darkness. Possessed by melody and melancholy and dealing in the kind of pulverising pell-mell that characterised the 80’s New York sound, the fusion of noise and unexpected tunefulness delivers a heady almost psychedelic effect.

“At the start, Live Skull seemed more obsessed with the politics of personal relationships than politics at large. Sometimes conflating the two. Hit So Hard follows on from Neutralize The Outliers, an addictive anthem of otherness, and album opener Magic Consciousness, a modern post-punk protest tune of subtlety and power. Live Skull have also confirmed a string of US dates in the Summer, with more to be announced soon.
