Lookit, Martians! & The Cheap Pops To Release Split Album

Cat’s Claw Records and Punk Rock Radar have announced the release of the ultimate pop punk battle between Lookit, Martians! and The Cheap Pops that will be released on CD and two vinyl variants, fallen sun (orange) and viridescent sea of a long forgotten martian war (green). The release also comes with two limited edition Top Punks collector cards

Mannheim, Germany’s Lookit, Martians! was founded by members of pop punk veterans The Barbecuties in response to the very unpunk pandemic and the resulting boredom on the planet. Stylistically, Lookit, Martians! is heavily influenced by old school pop punk in the vein of bands like Ramones, Green Day, Teen Idols or Teenage Bottlerocket. Ruhrpott, Germany’s The Cheap Pops are a three man tag team influenced by the likes of Ben Weasel, Kody Templeman, Devin Tanner and Fraser McKay. Sometimes funny, sometimes stupid but always right in your face.
