Birmingham, UK’s Lovebreakers formed in 2017, they swiftly released their debut EP, Social Hell, through their own Sabbath City Records and toured extensively through 2018, including a number of sold out hometown shows. In 2019 the band flew out to Los Angeles to record their debut full length record at Hurley Studios, in Costa Mesa, California with Davey Warsop (Green Day, Foo Fighters). Lovebreakers are now finally set to release their debut full length, Primary Colours, this Friday, the 25th June. The album is a blur of Ramones style energy and melody with a dark, gritty story teller nature akin to Elvis Costello or The Clash. The album’s title track, along with it’s brand new video, is just that, a vibrant clash of brightness and contrast that shows a confidence and songwriting ability of a band with a lot ‘more’ under its belt.

Being a band and trying to release new music and get that music to fans during this pandemic has been a struggle for almost every band on the planet, and Lovebreakers are no exception. They are currently booked and announced in to support the mighty Social Distortion on their rescheduled UK and EU tour in 2022, after being hand picked by Mike Ness, the legendary Social Distortion front man. Sadly many of their other plans, including a US tour and festival dates, have either been cancelled or put on hold.

You can pre-order Primary Colours on ‘cream, turquoise and bright green splatter’ vinyl via Wiretap Records and digitally via Bandcamp
