Manchester Punk Festival Reveals Zombie Shack Covers Sets

Each year at the Manchester Punk Festival one of the highlights has been the rowdy covers sets that take place at the Zombie Shack, and this year will be no different. Amongst the highlights will be Aerial Salad who will be performing a Green Day set covering what are arguably the band’s finest years, 1989 – 1999. Brand new southern supergroup Operation Forsyth will be blasting through a long awaited Operation Ivy set, featuring current and former members of Faintest Idea, Beat The Red Light, Dead Neck and The Junk. There will also be a Crass set performed by Tim Loud and friends under the moniker of Krass and last but not least, there will be an Oasis set performed by new local supergroup tribute act Blowasis, featuring members of Revenge Of The Psychotronic Man, Danny Do’s and Tree. The Manchester Punk Festival is three days of punk across six venues in Manchester City Centre between the 19th and 21st April 2018, it is brought to you by three DIY promoters; TNS Records, Moving North and Anarchistic Undertones.
