Mignon is a singer, composer and producer who grew out of Berlin’s underground scene. As a teenage Punk runaway, she learned her craft from drag performers. Her explosive live shows and international tours cemented her reputation as a fearless, high-energy performer. Blending Punk attitude with sharp songwriting and theatrical flair, Mignon continues to push boundaries on stage and in the studio, an independent artist with a wild history and a sound that refuses to sit still. This year Mignon started a podcast called Utopia Rising offering a way out to Humanity as her songs always try to point out how misfits and outcasts can save the world. A new episode will accompany the release of her new single, We’re the Monsters, that is now available through streaming platforms and Bandcamp via Bad Girl Records, the track is the first taste of her fourth album, Blind Dark Horse, that will be released later in 2026.

With all its guts and moxie, Mignon‘s We’re The Monsters sounds off like a supernatural successor to Le Tigre meets Ramones, taking up the outsider’s baton with a hand minced down to its bare rock n’ roll bones. Syllables land like military steps, two punctuated slabs of high-pitched rubber, pounding the city pavement to a playful beat. Mignon isn’t only marching for women’s autonomy and queer rights, she’s fighting for all those on the freaky fringes, whose glorious deviation forever paves the way for mainstream innovation (while the Punks and misfits get zero credit). Fun, life-affirming and desperately needed, let We’re The Monsters become your first and fiercest anthem of 2026. A brand new year for breaking rules.
