Millie Manders & The Shutup Announce New Single “Rebound”

Millie Manders & The Shutup have announced that their brand new single, Rebound, will be released on the 14th February to coincide with our fervent annual celebration of all things love and lust. Except on this occasion the message is for those who fell for the whispered words amidst the deceit, for those who belatedly discovered that they were in fact the rebound. An anti-Valentines song, if you will. An ode to toxic online dating.

“Rebound reflects my experience with online dating, but most people I have spoken to have had similar and worse experiences with it. I wanted to write a song that was in solidarity with those on the receiving end of a rebound relationship and let them know they were never the problem.” (Millie Manders)

Rebound can be now pre-saved / added / ordered here and a video for the single will be revealed when the tracks launches on Valentine’s Day. Millie Manders & The Shutup will also be on tour throughout April, including appearances at Manchester Punk Festival and Dogfest, and the band will also be opening this Summer’s Slam Dunk Festival.
