Minneapolis alternative/indie rockers Motion City Soundtrack will release a documentary on May 13, 2014 through Epitaph Records. The documentary titled I Am The Movie: The Movie is a collection of video footage and photographs from the early 2000s when the band recorded and released their debut album I Am The Movie. The album was first self-released in 2002 and then re-released in 2003 via Epitaph. View the trailer for the documentary here.
To celebrate the release Motion City Soundtrack will perform an acoustic set of the album I Am The Movie at the McNally-Smith Auditorium on the campus of McNally-Smith College of Music in St. Paul, Minn., on May 13 at 7 p.m.
The documentary will be available on limited edition DVD, as well as through digital outlets like iTunes and Amazon.
