Ocean Is Theory Sign To Razor & Tie
Razor & Tie has signed indie group Ocean Is Theory. The band, originally formed in 2007, is planning a follow up to their sophomore EP In My Blood Again, which was released independently shortly thereafter. Beka Tischker, Vice President of A&R at Razor & Tie comments on the signing:
“I am so excited to be working with Ocean Is Theory. I thank Dylan Chenfeld for bringing the band to my attention and introducing me to their music. I know they are ready for big things in the future, and everyone at Razor & Tie is thrilled to be working on this project.”
The band describes their currently untitled 2011 album as being “more indie pop” than anything in their past, with Jimmy Eat World surfacing as a primary influence during the writing process.
