Straight outta North Lincolnshire, youthful indie punks Poets Corner have shared their debut single, Over And Over, via Warren Records. The track is about the struggle of coming to terms with your part in relationships whilst blaming the other side. With its garage-rock style guitars, Over And Over’s street-wise production harks back to the seminal days of early punk, along with the addition of a lo-fi Farfisa style organ that pokes it’s head out from time to time and brings a certain charm to the record.
“The making of this record was our first experience of being in a recording studio but that naivety worked to our advantage, giving the release a real spontaneous & unplanned feel. On the other hand, Over And Over means a huge amount to each of us, as we all have the same dream of being in a successful band & this is the first step in a journey towards accomplishing that dream.” (vocalist Cayden Oram)
