Portugal’s Sunflowers Reveal “Workworkwork” Video

Today, Portuguese noise-punk explorers Sunflowers share a third taste of their new album, You Have Fallen… Congratulations!, which is set for release on November 7th through Fuzz Club Records. Following the rebellious charge of Chameleon Kid and the buzzsaw guitars and wry lyricism of I Got Friends, today they dial up the tension with Workworkwork. A blistering Punk assault on micromanagement and the cult of overwork, it’s fast, furious, and completely frayed, capturing the mania of modern burnout in two and a half minutes. 

The accompanying self-directed video mirrors the chaos it soundtracks: three screens locked on the instruments, slowly zooming out to reveal the band not playing them at all, but buried in endless tasks: drawing, sawing, pruning. Sunflowers will also be on tour in Portugal this Winter in support of You Have Fallen… Congratulations!
