RIP Lorna Doom Of The Germs

The Punk Site is saddened to learn that Lorna Doom, bassist for the legendary and influential LA punk band The Germs, has passed away, at this time the cause of her death has not been announced. Lorna Doom, whose real name was Teresa Ryan, was part of The Germs from 1976 until the death of lead singer Darby Crash in 1980, she then reprised her role with the band when they reformed in 2005. Her death was announced yesterday when the band’s drummer, Don Bolles, posted the following statement on Facebook “She left this mortal coil today around 1”, the post was simply titled Lorna.
