Rise Against Frontman Guests On ‘Chris DeMakes A Podcast’

Tim McIlrath of Rise Against joins Less Than Jake‘s Chris DeMakes for Episode seven of “Chris DeMakes A Podcast” to discuss, critique and analyze their mega hit single ‘Savior‘ from the band’s 2008 album “Appeal To Reason“. To date the track has logged over 329 million plays on Spotify alone and holds the record for the most consecutive weeks on the Alternative Airplay music chart. Tim McIlrath had this to say “We toured the entire Appeal To Reason record without ever playing ‘Savior’ and it wasn’t even like some tortured decision. We didn’t even think about it… It just didn’t make the setlist. It was just a song on the record that we liked, but it wasn’t anything that we thought was particularly special. Turns out that it was”.
