Slaves Release ‘Photo Opportunity’ Video
Slaves are kicking off 2019 with a brand new video for the contemplative track, Photo Opportunity, that is taken from their acclaimed album, Acts Of Fear And Love. The video finds the pair forgoing their more madcap tendencies and instead creating something both funny and touchingly nostalgic. The video sees two younger versions of Isaac and Laurie killing time and messing around in a way that will be familiar to anyone who grew up in the quiet suburbs. The track itself finds Isaac struggling with an existential crisis as his life changes and he is recognized more and more in the street. It careens from a soft guitar line to a huge, pounding riff, and an emotive, singalong chorus built for big rooms. The Punk Site review of Acts Of Fear And Love can be read here
