Spike & The Gimmes Gimmes Take On “We Are The World” In Support Of Sweet Relief Musicians Fund

Spike & The Gimme Gimmes have teamed up with an star cast of friends from the punk world on their cover of the eighties charity hit We Are The World, with all proceeds from the single going to the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. We Are the World features the band’s already star studded line up which is complimented by a chorus that features Milo (Descendents), Nikki Corvette (Nikki & The Corvettes), Tony Reflex (Adolescents), Har Mar Superstar, Dani Miller (Surfbort), Dickey Barrett (The Mighty Mighty BossTones), Robert Lopez (El Vez), Stacey Dee (Bad Cop Bad Cop), Greg Antista (Greg Antista & The Lonely Streets), Johnny Bonnell (Swingin’ Utters), Joe Principle (Rise Against), Jolie Holland, Darius Koski (Swingin’ Utters), Jesse Wagner, Eva Walker, Chaki Funk Wizard, Jim Lindberg (Pennywise), Efram Schulz (Death by Stereo), Matt Caughthran (The Bronx), Jon Snodgrass (Drag The River), Blag Dahlia (Dwarves) and Miss Guy!

We Are The World is now available through streaming platforms and can be pre-ordered on vinyl, that features a bonus track on the flip side, via Fat Wreck Chords. We Are The World is taken from Spike & The Gimme Gimmes upcoming full length, Spike and the Gimme Gimmes Shit the Bed.
