Spunk Release ‘Fast Dad’ From Upcoming Album ‘S.S.O.S’

Spunk are a genre-bending DIY death punk band hailing from the small town of Stouffville, Ontario, they debuted with 2015’s aggressive and energetic It’s Not Punk, It’s Spunk LP, in the subsequent two years they have released Psychological Abuse and Directionless Fury via Acid Vision Records. These records embodied a signature sound, a combination of catchy, fast riffs with over-the-top explosive vocal performances that deal with themes of body horror, mutilation and death with a savage sense of humour. Now Spunk are set to release their first studio album, S.S.O.S, on August 10th that still packs all the punch and grit of their early DIY recordings. Ahead of the album’s release Spunk have unleashed a stream of the first track from the album, Fast Dad.
