2026 is here and we at the The Punk Site pride ourselves in taking in as much of the music scene as we can, yes we predominantly promote and listen to Punk, but that’s a huge church of music in itself, so when we get the chance to cover one of the UK’s first of the year and most prestigious multi venue festivals in Stockton Calling of course we do, and this will be our 7th or 8th at least. They come from far and wide and they return year in year out, so many festival goers can’t be wrong.

Just take a look at who has played at this festival in the past and you get a sense of just how much of a draw and springboard this festival can be, The Chapman Family, The Lottery Winners, The Enemy, Venus Grrrls, Self Esteem, Fat Dog, Bob Vylan, Panic Shack and so many many more.

Being that this is a festival that is, as inclusive of all genres as any other festival, then your always going to be in for a treat, this year sees headliners Hard-Fi, The Molotovs and Gurriers play alongside some of the best up and coming like Soapbox, Courtney Dixon, CRUZ oh and don’t forget Liam Gallagher’s son in Villanelle.  But what Stockton Calling is so good at and a reason it pretty much sells out every year is its all encompassing musical ethos, so when you attend this event your always going to find bands that will surprise and entertain, bands that will become your new favourite thing, and without doubt this year is set to do exactly that.

Some of our personal highlights will be The Molotovs, SoapBox, Eighty Eight Miles, End Credits, Martha May & The Mondays, Northern Hospitality, and Pit Pony, and that’s just the ones we have seen before, just imagine how good it can get, when taking in the 7 venues in Stockton and enjoying the hospitality of a town with pride in itself. All we can say is be there or lose out on a whole world of music, stay the weekend, enjoy the community and all inclusive world of Stockton-On-Tees.
