New Jersey pop punk band Sucker Punch have released Worst Case Ontario, the lead single from their upcoming EP, Better Pleasures. Worst Case Ontario kicks off with a bang and never lets up, with elements of early Neck Deep and The Story So Far combined with an easycore edge pioneered by scene mainstays like A Day to Remember. Lyrical themes revolve around betrayal and inertia, with a climax at the anthemic refrain, “This small town will never be the same / Devil’s Kettle will become my grave.” With a propulsive rhythm section and impassioned vocal-guitar interlock, Worst Case Ontario is crafted for mosh pits and crowd sing-alongs.

Worst Case Ontario is based off of the universe for cult classic movie Jennifer’s Body.  It’s about a temptress luring you in, just to have your heart ripped out. We suppose those who’ve had their hearts metaphorically ripped out can relate as well.” (guitarist Billy Butka)
