Super Whatevr – Carhartts & Converse (ft. Mark Hoppus)
Southern California indie rock act Super Whatevr has premiered a new song featuring Mark Hoppus of Blink 182. The song is titled “Carhartts & Converse.” Vocalist Skyler McKee comments on the collaboration:
“Y’all ever dream of creating art with someone you revere and respect? Yeah, I got to do that with Mark Hoppus. I wanted to make a song about courage and strength amidst people trying to put you down. A song about loving yourself for what you’re worth rather than what others say about you. Mark was an amazing person to work with because he’s so open to facilitating these conversations, and he’s just a badass songwriter in general. Enjoy the tune in your clothes that make you feel the most confident and don’t let anyone tell you that you’re worth anything less.”
