Long Branch, NJ punk trio The Carousers emerged in the spring of 2016 when college friends Joey Affatato and Andy Jackle recorded their first demo, She’s The Devil, with the assistance of Mikey Groch (The Cryptkeeper Five) on bass guitar. In need of a bassist for their first show, Cassidy Crosby filled in and shortly after became a permanent member afterwards. The band have since released their self titled debut EP as well as a smattering of self recorded singles including Valentine, that was released in February 2022

The Carousers are stoked to announce that they will be releasing their brand new single, The Future, on Friday May 19th. The band will also be playing Pouzza Fest in Montreal, CA this month alongside acts such as The Flatliners, Broadway Calls, The Dirty Nil, Prince Daddy & The Hyena, The Bronx and many more.

“The Future” is about the emotional heartbreak you go through after being ghosted in a relationship. You’re stuck thinking what could have been and why things turned for the worse. We’re all incredibly stoked on how this one came out and hope you’ll dig it too!
