The Cutthroat Brothers & Mike Watt Unveil “Like A Zombie” Animated Video
Hound Gawd! Records recently announced Devil in Berlin, the new album by The Cutthroat Brothers and Mike Watt, and now they have now released a brand new animated video for Like A Zombie just in time for Halloween. “Grave stompin’, brain munchin’ Halloween rock n roll zombie treats with Mike Watt and Zombie Iggy Pop! What else is there?” says guitarist and frontman Jason Cutthroat of the band’s new video.
Devil In Berlin will be available on vinyl, CD and digital formats on December 3rd. The venomous blues-punk, swamp-garage sounds of The Cutthroat Brothers took inspiration from The Cramps & Roky Erickson for Like a Zombie, and the trio paired up with director and animator Shittydizzny for the video. The track, featuring lurching drums like a sledgehammer beating on Satan’s bedroom door, mix with horrorshow organ by Jack Endino himself, is sure to be a snarling, howling, Halloween anthem to curse the turntables of greasy creeps and ghouls everywhere for decades to come.
