The Dollyrots Release “Missing You (Can’t Wait)” Single Ahead Of “Year Of The Bunny” US Tour

As they get set to embark on their Year Of The Bunny Tour, pop punk duo The Dollyrots have released their new single, Missing You (I Can’t Wait). The track was co-produced by Stevie Van Zandt at his Renegade Studios in NYC, with Geoff Sanoff engineering and John Fields on mixing & production as well. The band has also been busy, writing and recording new music. Once again working with longtime collaborator John Fields who is responsible for the bulk of production credit on the upcoming full length that is due out this fall on Wicked Cool Records.

“Missing You (I Can’t Wait)” was unfinished when we brought it into the studio in NYC to record with Stevie Van Zandt. We share a love of 60s pop harmonies, and that sensibility turned the song’s outro into the trippiest vocal layering we’ve ever done. Always active on the live circuit, the band is gearing up for summer tours in both the South and the West Coast with support by friends Don’t Panic and Dog Party. This Fall the band will also embark on a co-headlining run with Tsunami Bomb, including a September 1st pitstop at the 3rd annual Camp Punksylvania Music & Camping Festival at the legendary Circle Drive-In Theater in Pennsylvania.
