The Dreadnoughts Invite You Into The “Polka Pit”

Formed in Vancouver in 2006 and now based in New York, The Dreadnoughts have carved out a global reputation for blending polka, sea shanties, waltzes and raw Street Punk into a sound that is as infectious as it is defiant. The Dreadnoughts have now released their eighth full length, Polka Pit, via Punkerton Records, the album invites the world once again into their sweaty, joyous circle, where tradition and rebellion collide in glorious, beer-soaked harmony. The Dreadnoughts are trying to start a revolution, and Polka Pit is the soundtrack.

The Dreadnoughts are celebrating the release of their new album later today, the 19th September, at Columbus, OH’s Skully’s Music Diner with support from The Boy Detective and Brave The Sea. A second album release show will take place at Duluth, MN’s Blacklist Brewing Co. on the 22nd September with support from Winzige Hosen.
