The Fest 12 Becomes A 6 Day Festival

Details have been revealed for the annual punk rock festival known simply as The Fest. Going into it’s twelfth year, festival organizers No Idea Records have taken it a step further adding an extra day to the show in Gainesville, FL as this year’s edition will take place from Oct. 31-Nov. 3 2013.

So far bands announced include  The Bouncing Souls, Braid, Boy Sets Fire, A Wilhelm Scream, The Dopamines, The Flatliners, Mean Jeans, The Menzingers, Mustard Plug, No Trigger, Torche, Masked Intruder, Big D and the Kids Table , Code Orange Kids, I am the Avalanche, The Copyrights, Banner Pilot, Broadway Calls, Citizen, Calculator, Blacklist Royals, Crusades, Great Cynics, Heartsounds, Look Mexico, Luther, Restorations, Red City Radio, Smith Street Band, Elway, Sundials, Broadcaster and many, many more including special reunion sets from The Draft and Ann Beretta.

On top of the Gainesville dates, the festival has also added two days in Ybor City, FL (near Tampa) entitled Big Pre-Fest in Little Ybor. The two days there will play host to 100 bands to start, in 5 venues with 6 stages over two days with many of the bands playing extra “special” sets for the festival.
