The Fifth Episode of ThePunkSite.com Radio Show Airs Tomorrow

You should already know this and have been listening, but in case you’ve somehow missed it: on the first Friday of every month we air a two hour radio show, ThePunkSite.com Radio Show, on RealPunkRadio.com; and since tomorrow is the first Friday of January, we’ll be playing a brand new episode for you! The fifth episode of ThePunkSite.com Radio Show will air tomorrow afternoon, Friday January 7th, from 1PM-3PM EST (11AM-1PM MST) on RealPunkRadio.com.

During the monthly two hour show I play a bunch of music that I’m digging and tie in all the music to important news stories that have happened over the last few weeks. It’s a nice little recap of what’s been happening in the punk scene interspersed with some great tunes. This month’s episode includes stories on the many sides of MXPX, The Ramones’ Grammy awards, the barrage of cancelled tours due to bad weather and the string of anniversary tours, lineup changes of Against Me!, Civet and Paramore, the recent persecution of emos in Armenia and more. On top of that we also have 33 songs that we play.

After it airs, the episode will be available to download or stream in MP3 from Mevio – where you can currently listen to all our old episodes and even subscribe to it on iTunes.
