The Methadones Return With “Love On Layaway” EP

The Methadones haven’t released new music in over 15 years, which is way too long, but finally they are back with a brand new two song 7″ single the can be streamed and purchased here, the band’s long awaited return features two brand new songs, Love On Layaway and My Insanity Plea. Red Scare Industries have teamed up with Dutch imprint Stardumb Records to celebrate their 25th birthday and pressed a very limited 7″ as a party favor.

Still led by Dan Schafer (Sludgeworth / The Riverdales / Screeching Weasel / Dan Vapid & The Cheats), The Methadones are back with new guitarist Simon Lamb (Screeching Weasel / Dan Vapid & The Cheats / The Riverdales) and they have two upcoming shows, on June 7th the band will be appearing at the sold out Stardumb 25 in Rotterdam, NL and on August 30th they will be playing a hometown show at Chicago, IL’s Cobra Lounge.
