At number 9 in the The Punk Site‘s top 20 of 2021 lies Decent Criminal’s DC EP that was released back in March. Known for bucking musical norms and flipping genres on their heads, the Santa Rosa, CA outfit returned with their take on 90s Alternative, Punk and Surf Pop with a new three song EP that saw the band moving in a different direction than their previous releases, whilst maintaining what made them so infectious in the first place. The DC EP snaps from laid back to urgent, fuzzy to clean, making every track memorable and incredibly engaging.
