On the eve on their May 2026 European Tour, NYC's SHEER TERROR have released their new single, Squat Diddler, that…
The Red Stains have returned with their new single, Mannequin, which is taken from their upcoming debut EP, Thank You For Shopping With Us. Mannequin addresses the theme of objectification and the societal pressures that are constructed against women, it also symbolises the fierce charismatic live energy the band have become known for. With this release The Red Stains are ready to make one message clear to anyone and everyone… that they’re not your toys, dummies, dolls or mannequins, you can’t box them up and tie a ribbon around them.
From the moment you are born, you are taught to be quiet, be pretty, stand still, sit straight, into adulthood where the patriarchy bases your worth on your body, sex appeal with the idea that men can take and get whatever they want from then move onto the next like a flesh conveyer belt. Packed with an energetic rhythm section of quivering bass notes and smacking drum beats, as well as a sassy, sultry vocal that is matched with a yowling guitar tone and jarring feedback. The Red Stains will also be performing on The Rebel Soul stage at Shambala Festival on Sunday 27th August
