Colorado Springs’ The Sleights have announced that their new full length, Don’t Worry! It Will All Be Over Soon, is set to be released on August 7th in partnership with Rad Girlfriend Records. Alongside the announcement, the band has shared a video for lead single Alone. Loud, fast, and fun, The Sleights specialize in punk songs that pair dark lyrics with bright, driving hooks. Lead single Alone takes an irreverent look at dating and love in 2026 is the first taste of Don’t Worry! It Will All Be Over Soon, The video was shot at Thrashers, a Colorado Springs skate punk bar, with the band’s closest friends acting out a scene involving drugs, S&M, and bare-knuckle bar brawling. You can catch the The Sleights on tour across the Summer and Fall with more shows to be announced:

“We definitely aimed to level up this record both sonically and in terms of songwriting. I think it’s our best to date. We lost a dear friend suddenly right before we recorded it, while I was finishing songs, and the sadness, confusion, and the need to come together to heal was definitely soaked into the material. Everything keeps getting worse for everyone I know and there is a palpable feeling of dread floating in the air. I’m pissed, I think most people are. There are a few songs vocalizing the growing stress many of us feel.” (Luke Blanton)
