Manchester Punk Festival Issues 40th Name Your Price Compilation
Manchester Punk Festival have released the 40th volume of their name your price compilation series via Bandcamp ahead of this year’s…
The Transits have returned with their most ambitious release yet, their new full length Bleed Hope, that cements their reputation as an urgent and cinematic band. The album is a widescreen collision of sound, luminous melodies that mask shadows, synths that shimmer before collapsing into driving guitars, and choruses built for both headphones and stadiums. At its core is the title track, an anthemic single that shifts from whispered confessions to explosive release, a song that embodies both the fragility and resilience at the heart of the record. Alongside the title track are songs that showcase the band’s range: Ghosts of Summer drips with restless nostalgia, Outsiders bristles with Pop-Punk swagger, Middle of the Night unfolds like cinema, Live Today turns dread into a chant, and Dancing With Shadows continues to reverberate worldwide. New highlights include the beautifully dark Pop of Empty Room, the thunderous Youth Puppets, and the dance-fuelled Never Back Down.
“Bleed Hope is about finding strength in vulnerability. It’s about carrying light even when it feels like everything around you is fading.” (vocalist & guitarist Ryan Lunn)
