The Week That Was: Dec. 19 – Dec. 25

A lot of things happen each and every week that sometimes it’s hard to keep track of everything. That’s why we have “The Week That Was” where we will recap the more important news stories from the past week.

This week’s highlights include:

• Yesterday we took the day off and enjoyed Christmas, we hope you had a wonderful and relaxing day as well!
• Amp Magazine released a free, 35 song winter compilation and Way Out West Fest released a free 13 song compilation too
• The Farro Brothers explained their departure from Paramore and shed some harsh light on the band’s dynamics
• Green Day will release a new live CD/DVD cleverly titled Awesome As Fuck
• Finch officially called it a day
• This Time Next Year cancelled their tour and entered the studio with New Found Glory‘s Chad Gilbert
• One Win Choice posted two free songs for download from their upcoming new album, Conveyor
• Fucked Up did an interesting interview with Brokencyde
• Sadly, The Flatliners had to postpone their upcoming UK tour
• Direct Hit! and Tit Patrol announced a new split as did We Were Skeletons
• We unveiled an exclusive song from The F-Bombers and traditional live video from Greenland Is Melting
• Paris Visone posted some new live photos from The Fest 9 in Gainesville
• And we relaunched a brand new forum for all you regulars to discuss anything and everything punk!
