Thee Windom Earles Release New Single ‘Playing Dead’

Thee Windom Earles have released their new single ‘Playing Dead‘. The track was cut in a primitive session at the tail end of 2019 & intended for the first half of Thee Windom Earles sophomore long player. 2020 however had other plans. Until times permit ‘Playing Dead is a taste of what’s to come. The band released this statement about the single “Summer, a time of joy (not this summer, obviously). A time of joy constantly under threat from buzzshits from the Hymenoptera. Playing Dead documents such a time, when these parasites of the Vespidae built their base of operations  amongst the very transistors of our most important systems, the very technology vital to the survival of Thee Earlesworld. A swarm descending on an unsuspecting, undefended household. Once the invasion was surpressed by a heroic band of pest controllers, the revived technology was used to make this document of the event’. ‘Playing Dead‘, and the band’s debut album “Mai Tai Pink Eye” are now available via Bandcamp and digital service providers.
