Anndy Negative Takes On The Gatekeepers With New Single “When We Were Young”

When We Were Young, the new song from Anndy Negative, burst onto the scene last week in a flourish of bright color and distorted guitars. Unfortunately, Anndy received a wave of backlash from genre gatekeepers after releasing a TikTok asking if the song was “a new emo anthem”, despite this, the video now has almost 30,000 views.

Anndy Negative is spreading a message of positivity (the irony isn’t lost on him) and standing up for the weird kids who always felt left out. “The world is full of people who will try and tell you who you need to be to fit in, but they can’t stop you from being yourself. So embrace your inner weirdo and live life on your terms.”
