Tightwire came storming out of Minneapolis in 2018 with a catchy / crusty / spooky debut and toured with Dillinger Four, Chixdiggit!, Off With Their Heads and more. Since then, they’ve only gotten stronger with the addition of Noelle Stolp (Rational Anthem) on second guitar and added vocals. Tightwire 2.0 is now armed with 12 new songs from their second full-length album, Head Full Of Snakes, that is out now via Red Scare Industries.

The band started out as Paul Kettler‘s acoustic project in 2015 (who performed basement shows as a solo artist), then he added musicians to open for bands like Dillinger Four, Dead To Me and The Falcon. They were quick to make their mark in Minneapolis and were practically the house band at the vaunted Triple Rock Social Club. By 2016, drummer Parker Thompson and Tane Graves had officially joined Tightwire and solidified the trio. In late 2020, Kettler left to pursue a graduate degree, leaving Thompson and Graves to keep the band going, at which point they added Paul Mullaney (Tane’s cousin!) and Noelle Stolp. The band has already done several national tours and played festivals like The Fest, War on X-Mas and T1 Fest.
