US ska fuelled pop punks Victory Kid are back with renewed energy and a brand-new single, You’re Alright, which is out today via streaming platforms. Inspired by the hooks and sounds of 2000s pop-punk, You’re Alright is written from the perspective of someone well acquainted with middle of the night, throat-closing panic. The song reflects the songwriter’s struggles with his own anxieties; the despairing lyrics mediated by a bright, propulsive guitar riff. You’re Alright is a wake-up call to anyone adrift in the gulf between no longer and not yet,

With a sound that oscillates between the raw energy of punk, the catchy hooks of pop-punk, and the blaring horns of ska, Victory Kid remain true to their mission to deliver music with heart, attitude, and musical drive. You’re Alright is the final single release off the band’s sophomore album, Catalyst, that will be released via later this year SBÄM Records. Victory Kid are also slated to play major festivals during their tour of Europe this Summer and Fall.
