Video: Greeland Is Melting – Noodlin/Cripple Creek
On this, the first Tuesday of 2011, we’re ecstatic to unveil the third and final video from Greenland Is Melting‘s recent front porch series. This time, however, the band has left behind their front porch and instead recorded their acoustic performance as they walked through a forest adding a little extra flare to the video.
For the track they merged two traditional songs, Noodlin and Cripple Creek, into one cohesive unit. The video can be seen below.
The Floridian trio will be releasing the track as part of a three song EP titled Folk Songs From Florida: Volume 1. The EP, which features all traditional songs, will be released for free from Paper + Plastick Records next week.
