Vultures United are the latest band to try and finance a new seven inch through Kickstarter. The record that they’re working towards is titled GIRLS and will be a 7″ EP, which will feature five to six cover songs that were originally were sang by women, hence the name “GIRLS“.
The band, who normally releases stuff through Red Scare Industries, explained:
We thought it was a unique idea and rather than have Red Scare foot the bill for a weird 7″ like this, we thought Kickstarter might be a cool way to get the project going and actually made into a reality.
The band is offering a variety of rewards for helping to fund the record, including the 7″ for as little as $7 (with shipping included) to pledge tiers up to $30 (3 versions of the record on colored vinyl) plus a bunch of other giveaways for bigger pledges.
