Welsh Language Punks Breichiau Hir Release New AA Single “Mwynhau / Ofni Braidd”

Cardiff-based Welsh language post-hardcore six-piece, Breichiau Hir, have revealed their brand new AA single, Mwynhau / Ofni Braidd. Alongside the news, the band have also released the official video for the A side track Mwynhau, which celebrates the noble and time-honoured tradition of the air guitarist, and the fleeting joy of fresh experiences. The sextet will release their debut album, Hir Oes I’r Cof, on the 19th November via Welsh language alternative label Libertino Records. Breichiau Hir have also just announced their album launch show at Cardiff’s Clwb Ifor Bach on 20th November 2021, with support from False Hope For The Savage.

“Mwynhau translates to ‘enjoy’ or ‘enjoying’. This one is about chasing fun and a good time—the ways you and your friends used to enjoy spending your time has changed. Experiences are only exciting when they’re new. When they’re repeated, they lose their spark. This song is about the desperate quest to find that feeling again, after years or repetition.”
