Madison Turner Shares New Single & Video “Had Enough”
Richmond, VA's Madison Turner has shared her brand new single and video, Had Enough, that is now available through streaming…
SF Bay Area punk band Year001 are back with their new single, East Bay Punk, that is now available via streaming platforms, the track is the third release from their forthcoming debut album, The Sound Of Our Voice, that’s due out in the Spring. East Bay Punk is an anthemic ska-punk track that’s an ode to the area’s rich legacy of great punk bands and the band’s musical roots. The tracks intensity evolves with a dynamic mix of skacore rhythms, chant along chaos and driving punk rock riffs, with each section influenced heavily by different styles of punk and ska groups such as NOFX, Operation Ivy, Bad Religion and Skankin’ Pickle.
“E.B.P. is a song about being punk without really knowing what that means today. Our band Year001 grew up on punk and ska music. It was diverse and creative, but the “I’m more punk than you” narrative never made sense, so we see “punk” for the great music and the passion for it, and less about fashion, culture and expectations.” (bassist Nick Volkart)
