Years Down Share New Single “Famous”

“On its face the track seems pretty self explanatory, if you were to go by the chorus alone it feels like it’s exclusively written about desperately desiring to be famous. However when you dig a little deeper into the verses it’s clearly about more than just craving fame. There’s elements of discomfort and distaste with the traditional life that everyone is expected to follow, self doubt, as well as a hunger to prove myself to those around me. I’ve always struggled with having confidence in my writing and singing and a lot of those emotions are on display in this song.” (vocalist Griffin Mather)
