40 Shillings On The Drum are set to release their new single Mean Streets (Born in the Same Gutter), that was produced by Feeder‘s Tom Gleeson, on the 5th April 2019. The single shows a huge departure from their traditional folk-punk roots, with the band taking a more contemporary punk-rock sound that pushes 40 Shillings On The Drum to new heights. In the build-up to this release, a short tour has been booked around St Patrick’s Day, with the band taking to the stage in several intimate venues across England before they launch themselves into a packed summer schedule of festivals and UK wide shows. The band’s debut album, also produced by Tom Gleeson, will follow in late 2019. You can find out more about 40 Shillings On The Drum via the band’s website here
