Portland, OR’s Matt Roller has released his new solo full length, Basement Songs, that is now available via Bandcamp and streaming platforms, the album offers a DIY, dynamic amalgamation of styles, ranging from pop-punk to crust to emo to folk punk. Lyrically Basement Songs touches on the topics such getting older, family, looking back at good times and bad times, addiction, recovery and dealing with tough relationships.

“A few of these songs have been in my back pocket for years and I took the time to really perfect and enhance them on Basement Songs. Most came out of a pure creative flame that was sparked by all the changes in my life. I genuinely hope you enjoy this album. Maybe it brings you back or speaks to where you may be today. Either way, maybe it will inspire you to write some songs in your basement too!” (Matt Roller)
