All Waffle Trick Drop “Continental Breakfast” EP

Grab your styrofoam cup of coffee and fire up that waffle iron because All Waffle Trick’s Continental Breakfast is finally here. The resurgent five song EP is now available on all major streaming platforms, marking the band’s first significant release since their 2019 album, Second Breakfast. The trio kicks things off with the lead single, Taking The Long Way. After the final chord trails off, introductions are made to the newest four additions to All Waffle Trick’s catalog. Came to Play and Want It All showcase the band’s ability to kick it into overdrive, delivering a classic punk sound that’s bound to incite mosh pits. The penultimate 10 Year Anniversary celebrates the journey of the band’s first decade with major pop-punk vibes. The EP fittingly wraps up with Aftermath, a song about grabbing brunch after a night of debauchery and perhaps a bit too much to drink.

Continental Breakfast is the perfect sonic sampler listeners have come to expect from this Denver staple: a seamless blend of ska guitar, driving bass lines and mayhem on the drums. Lyrically, the EP touches on a myriad of subjects… at least as many as you possibly can in this action-packed 15 minutes. The recording process for their latest EP concluded just before the untimely passing of the late drummer, Alex ‘Curly’ Mark. The remaining members of the band chose the name Continental Breakfast as a nod to their beloved drummer. The EP is dedicated to his memory and to his family.
