Altered Images Announce Return With UK Tour Dates & New Album “Mascara Streakz”

After forming in 1979 as teenagers, new-wave icons Altered Images quickly had worldwide success, selling millions of records, which topped the charts in several countries. They recorded three Top 10 albums and had six UK Top 40 hits including Don’t Talk To Me About Love, I Could Be Happy and Happy Birthday. Altered Images have now announced a March UK tour with support from Scarlet in addition to their Summer festival appearances, including Rewind Festival and Rebellion Festival.

Lead singer Clare Grogan has gone on to have a vast career in TV, Radio and writing, including the film Gregory’s Girl and cult sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf. However, her undying love for music remains and she recently received a Special Recognition Award at the Scottish Music Awards. On their upcoming tour dates Altered Images will be playing the very best of their old classics, as well as brand new material from their recently announced new studio album, Mascara Streakz, which will be released later this year.
