DC’s American Television has turned the pandemic into a year of activism, they released their debut album “Watch It Burn” and have contributed tracks to the Wiretap Records‘ Attention! compilations which raise money for the NAACP. Additionally, in 2020 the band has raised money for Black Lives Matter, Equal Justice Initiative, Doctors Without Borders, the workers at their t-shirt printer (Lehigh Valley Apparel Creations), and before the pandemic, they took action during the Australian wildfires by raising money for WIRES. The band have now released their set from The Fest That Never Was that includes ‘The Great Divide‘, ‘Drinks‘ and a cover of The Misfits ‘Skulls‘.
